Your Key Responsibilities

1. Day-to-Day Accounting & Bookkeeping

1. Post daily accounting entries in Zoho Books / Tally
2. Accurately classify income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
3. Keep books reconciled on an ongoing basis

2. Month-End Closure & Review Preparation

1. Prepare month closure workings and checklist
2. Complete bank, AR, and AP reconciliations
3. Prepare accruals, provisions, and depreciation workings
4. Submit review-ready work to the Checker

3. MIS Preparation

1. Prepare MIS schedules and supporting workings
2. Prepare variance explanations
3. Ensure MIS checklist compliance

4. Statutory Compliance – Preparation

1. GST: prepare GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B workings, ITC and output tax computation, and GST checklist submission
2. TDS: prepare section-wise TDS working in Winman, validate thresholds and rates, and submit TDS checklist

5. Bank Payments

1. Process payment requests, adhering to pre-defined payment cycles
2. Maintain documentation and accounting tagging for payments

6. Client & Internal Communication

1. Handle day-to-day operational communication
2. Follow up and escalate in a timely manner
3. Coordinate with the Checker and Manager

7. Timeline & Task Management

1. Track and meet client-specific timelines
2. Maintain and update task tracking in Atom

Who We're Looking For

To qualify for the role, you must have:

1. 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance operations role
2. Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance processes
3. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally
4. Familiarity with Winman for TDS workings
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliations and statutory workings
6. Ability to manage client-specific timelines and task tracking
7. Good communication skills for day-to-day client and internal coordination
