Associate Director | Client Delivery

Operations India Team Full-time

Leads end-to-end client delivery for a portfolio of finance services (accounting, FP&A, CFO support) for growth-focused businesses. This Associate Director role combines engagement, service delivery, and people management, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and high-quality outcomes for teams primarily in India.

What you'll do

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Associate Director – Client Delivery.


Role Summary:

The Associate Director – Client Delivery is responsible for end-to-end delivery management for a portfolio of clients, primarily based in India, with possible exposure to US and other global clients over time

This role combines engagement management, service delivery leadership, and people management. The Associate Director – Client Delivery ensures high-quality outcomes, operational excellence, and sustained client satisfaction while building and leading high-performing delivery teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement & Delivery Ownership
  2. Own delivery for a defined portfolio of clients across accounting, reporting, FP&A, and CFO support services.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for delivery-related matters and escalations.
  4. Ensure adherence to agreed scope, SLAs, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
  5. Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
  6. Proactively identify delivery risks and value-add opportunities.


  1. Service Delivery & Operational Excellence
  2. Drive consistent, high-quality delivery through standardised processes and controls.
  3. Oversee month-end close, management reporting, and forecasts.
  4. Monitor delivery of KPIs including timeliness, accuracy, and utilisation.
  5. Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  2. Lead, coach, and develop delivery teams.
  3. Manage capacity planning and performance reviews.
  4. Foster accountability and collaboration.
  5. Support onboarding and upskilling.

  4. Maintain documentation and audit readiness.

  3. Support global delivery coordination.
  4. Build SOPs and delivery frameworks.


  1. Strategic Contribution
  2. Support leadership in planning, resource forecasting, and client onboarding.
  3. Contribute to internal initiatives such as training programs, knowledge building, SOP creation, and audits.
  4. Provide insights to enhance service offerings and improve overall efficiency.


Required Skills & Qualification

  1. 8-10 years of progressive experience in team management within outsourced accounting/CFO/FP&A services, shared services, or GCC.
  2. 2-4 years experience managing mid to large teams directly or indirectly (20 – 40 members).
  3. Professionally qualified


Technical Competencies

  1. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, month-end close, and reconciliations.
  2. Experience with accounting platforms & ERPs
  3. Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, dashboards, and review mechanisms.
  4. Ability to identify process gaps and implement structured improvements.
